Established
for more than a decade, as a family owned and operated business,
based in the NSW Southern Highlands, Cotterstone enjoys a strong
reputation for quality handmade ornamental stonework. For us,
Paul and Kim Ashbrook, it is a priority to create pieces that
will become an integral part of any landscape. In fact our products
can be found in parks, streetscapes and private gardens all over
NSW and beyond.
The
business was started in the early nineties by Kim's father, David
Cotterill as an extension of his successful retail store, "The
Old Pot Factory". In late 2002 we decided to purchase Cotterstone
and expand its opportunities by supplying garden centres throughout
NSW and the ACT and making the architectural products available
direct.
Our
team of craftsmen meticulously hone the stone, taking time to
make each piece by hand, for a market that understands the nuances
of handmade products and appreciates the individual look and feel
of each piece.
With
garden 'make-overs' high on everyone's agenda, we have set about
producing an affordable range of integrated products, thus providing
a total package of flexibility, quality assurance and creative
solutions. In fact we pride ourselves on being 'solution based'.
Our
philosophy is simple; to hand make high quality stonework for
discerning garden owners, designers, landscapers and architects,
in the expectation that these timeless, stylish handmade cast
stone pieces will, with care, last for many generations.
The
architectural stonework is available directly from our factory,
if you are interested in our range please call us or contact us
via the web.
